Thank You, My Angel

You are my angel...this is true
And I just want to say two words: thank you
Even these simple words cannot express
My appreciation for you...I feel truly blessed
And thankful you were placed in my life
For if you had not been, I would be under more strife
I was on a downward spiral and felt like dying
Until you picked me up and stopped my crying
Then you proceeded to help me transform
Getting away from my comfortable norm
And into things like make-up, posture, and dress
Now, I no longer look like a mess
I feel comfortable in my new skin
There's only one person to thank...it's you, my kin
What you have done, I cannot repay
So I will simply say thank you...everyday in every way
