How many times I cried all the tears I wept
The feelings that I denied can no longer be kept
I had the courage to ask you
And now you say I love you, but that cannot be true

After only a week, how can your feelings be so strong?
I want to tell you I love you to, but what if i am wrong
I was hurt once before and I don't want to be again
It has taken some time to get over the pain

I know you really like me, I know you really care
You said if I ever need you, you will be there
With you I have so much fun, and I know I belong
But how can your feelings be so strong??
