Faded negativity

And I haven't felt like writing,
Cause I've nothing sad to say,
A new feeling never felt before,
I've nothing to complain.

Yes life is how its always been,
Some things are just as tough
But now you're here I'm satisfied,
And I'm not giving up.

I read back on my poems
And realise with shame,
All I ever did was moan,
Now nothing is the same.

Because with you I'm happy,
And now I'm glad to be
Writing words containing hope,
No longer negativity.
