The Human Animal

by Bradley Peter   Dec 20, 2005

My pieced heart bleeds
for you, is what it needs
though you are disaster
pieces of me still think of you as my master

I'd do anything you ask
no matter what the task
dragons i would slay
if that we're your demand i would gladly obey

me, you have inflicted
now i am addicted
i sadly can't escape
each and every day its my mind that you rape

the power you possess
is the reason i obsess
you've turned me weak and frail
i follow you like a dog on it master's trail

sad- yes I know
your heart’s cold like snow
but what can I do
my fragile little mind cannot live without you

I......like it. Its unique, it seems like one of those poems that you cant quite get right but if you tried to change it, it would screw it up. It reminds me of some of the poems i've tried to write. It has great themes and some lines are brilliant like 'sad- yes i know, your hearts cold like snow' it just fits so well. Great wind down conclusion.
