Aren't We Just Friends, I Guess Maybe More

We are friends,
just friends,
thats what I tell my friends.

We hang out,
sometimes till the sunlight
goes out,
are we going out?.

I never thought of us this way,
you know the boyfriend and
girlfriend way,
or any other way.

I am not saying I don't like you,
I am not saying that I love you,
I don't know what I am saying
to you.

Wait we have never been on a
date,
well maybe on October 31st that
was a date,
we had a dinner date.

This is giving me such a headache,
are you getting a headache?,
oh, you are getting heartache.

I guess its true, we are more,
much more.

Maybe we should try it,
people say we should try it,
only if you want to do it,
am not forcing you into it.

What am I trying to say?

I like you as a friend,
I love you as a friend,
I guess I am saying
will you be my girlfriend?.
