Once Upon A Time...Broken

Once upon a time,
He fell in love with her,
But their distance made him question, if his love was sure.
It seemed so hard to have her,
He couldn't even touch.
So how can he have possibly, loved her that much?
He explained to her just that,
Said that he was sorry,
Said he couldn't handle such a heartbreaking love story.
The lack of faith he had,
Made her's no less strong,
She still believed in them, thought his thinking was wrong.
She fought ever hard,
To keep them together,
Never to be with anyone else,she needed him forever.
But still he let go,
Denied his heart of love,
And now the girls needs some help, some help from above.
She got down on her knees,
And silently pray,
Please God, don't make me live through another day.
Not without him here,
Without his love for me,
My heart has been broken, no longer in one piece.
I can't live with all these tears,
I can't bear so much pain,
And if you're going to send an angel, send me him again.
But I know he won't come back,
So please just take my hand.
Bring this darkened soul up there, where it can strongly stand.
