Wow, this poem was like really powerful. I myself have been cutting for about 4 years now and i used do do toehr forms of self harm before that. It's a hard thing for other people to undertsand. Sadly enough most people don't try to understand and they just judge. I really like the message you were trying to get out with this poem. I am adding ou to my faveorites cuz I really love your work. 5/5

    lots of love

You are right - there are many ways of self harm to release pain. The depth or kind of cut doesn't matter, because either way it still cried red tears of "help me". I hope this habit is in your past, but I know that sometimes it is a habit that doesn't rest easily. :/

It comes back every now and then- Sometimes it's like a craving and I have to just try my best to not give in again

A vivid portrayal of self harm, dramatic and deep. It is such strong imagery of one bleeding their life away and I like the comparisons because for the sufferer it must seem like art since creativity is a release of emotional energy in what ever format. Something I would not normally have read but a compelling read. Thank you for sharing Milly x
