I cover my face,
So i don't see the violence.
I close my eyes,
Hoping it will all go away.
Scared to look up,
As i sit in the corner.
Afraid of what is around me.

To hide from the horror.
It's like I'm in a movie,
And there is no way out.
I'm all alone in a dark room,
Where no one can find me to let me out.

So no one can see me cry.
Why won't it leave me alone?
All around me people screaming.
My tears drop in a pile,
Letting me know I'm still alive.
