The Key

I can't go back to the same ole' thing.
I can't keep living in a piontless dream.
I can't continue to consider us a "we"
but I do hope you dont forget me.
you'll always be in my heart
even it all i have is memories
I need to finally let go
I dont love you the same
I hope writing this poem will help it show.
It's takin a while
but I finally quit living in denial
I let reality step in
It's helped me realize the pain I've been.
Always complaining and crying.
So I wrote this to show myself I've been lying.
Now i know you don't love me
I don't need you cause you no longer hold my heart in a box.
You no longer hold The Key...
