Do you remember the days when we were all young ?
nothing to worry about, always having fun
playing on the playground, falling on the floor
rolling around, being like a kid in a candy store
getting scrapes and calling them an ouchie
getting back up yelling MOM, DAD, LOOK AT ME
waiting till your birthday comes around
so you can have a party at the park
then you say, race you all to the playground
being a stubborn, stingy, stinky little boy or girl
nothing sharing your toys or tying on your moms pearls
running around going crazy jumping off things
yelling HELLO when the phone rings
do you remember you favorite TV shows ?
i sure do but now they are gone and that blows
do you remember the day you lost your innocence ?
thinking your old enough to face the consequence
do you remember the day you first did something bad ?
not knowing what you just did is going to make somebody mad
do you remember turning into a teenager ?
because it was years ago you thought you were a power ranger
do you remember when you had you first cigarette ?
knowing that a couple years later, its gonna be something you regret
do you remember your first drink ?
was it under peer pressure because you cared of what people think
do you remember going through all of this ?
because i know i do, but you cant change it, its the way it is
