Teddy

by Heather   Dec 21, 2005

Alone on the shelf,
dust all around.
I see my dear teddy,
the one with only one eye.
As I pull it down it looks so sad,
I've neglected to clean it's fur for so long.

I wipe him off with a damp cloth,
then I notice his arm is almost off.
his fur is matted with so much dust,
I try to do what I must.

I smileas I put teddy back on his shelf,
all nice and clean with a brand new bell.
