Rain drops

Rain drops pour from the sky
On my window pain they stop and lye

be still for a moment and try to hear
listen to the *splash* eco in your ear

The sound like pitter patter
before they shatter

upon the windowsill
many drops spill

a single one falls to the ground
it hardly makes a sound

but when many crash to the floor
it makes a sound as load as a slamming door
