A Day To Remember

by SweetFormOfSuicide   Dec 21, 2005

Feeling the gentle breeze being swept off Lake Superior,
like a rustling leaf in the wind
We lie side by side as the sun's glistening rays
strike the water's edge
A lonely cricket chirps from afar,
the seagulls plunge into the fresh water
The sunlight glimmers and flares
as we stare at the big red sun sinking below the horizon,
like a person going to sleep
I look upon him as he kisses me tenderly,
I wonder what life would be like without him
Then we fall fast asleep under the shimmering stars
while he embraces me in his arms
