Christmas is my favorite time of year,
Filled with many tidings of great joy and cheer,
Santa Claus and little elves,
(Parents awaitng beside the store shelves),
Lots of presents under the tree,
Waiting impatiently to be opened in glee,
Holiday traditions and Chrismas cards,
Happy children playing in snowy yards,
Doorways filled with sprigs of holly,
Many reasons to be blissful and jolly,
Christmas time is my favorite time of year,
I only wish next Christmas you were here.
