Christmas Angel

by Riven   Dec 22, 2005

Christmas isn't that great
Some's is filled with love, others hate
People left out in the cold
Growing dead,growing old
I know how they feel,I'm the angel watching over them
The person in the moon, the angel from above
Showing the path to them with love
Giving them hope, strength to move on
To be ready for the life when I'm gone
For when I'm gone all that remains
Is my spirit in the heart of many
For I am the Christmas Angel
Please don't cry my child
Don't sit here and weep
Lay your head on this bench
And catch some sleep
Use my cloak to keep you warm
For I feel your pain
Your heart is torn
Hush my child
Go to sleep
For when I'm gone all that remains
Is the joy of Christmas,in your heart it stays.
