Perfect X-mas

by V U L N E R A B L E   Dec 22, 2005

The tree was oh so pretty,
ornaments lining every branch.
A rainbow of lights,
had lit up the entire ranch.

A great big family,
was sitting around.
Everyone looked so happy,
not one single frown could be found.

But in this scene,
of great joy;
sat a broken-hearted teen girl,
with a sweet-looking boy.

They stand out,
just a bit more than the rest.
and their backdrop is fancy,
see its set to the west.

A great big window,
is behind the two.
There is a wonderful story,
painted behind this window thats blue.

The winter around there,
had left no snow for three years.
That the people had been left,
with nothing but wishful cheers.

But as the two teens look into each others eyes,
a single snowflake begins to fall.
No one in the room full of people,
seem to see the surprise thats so small.

Both holding a cup of hot steaming cocoa they looked,
out the window and back to each other and smiled.
The sweet-looking boy pulled the broken-hearted girl closer,
Then kissed her & with that her face lit up like a little child.

The broken-hearted girl, lay ed her head on his shoulder,
the boy glances down only to hear her sigh.
He lifts up her chin, exactly like its been lifted the same so many times before.
As tears dropped from her eyes the boy whispered "Please do not cry."

The girl looked into his eyes clueless,
and lifted her hand to wipe the tears away.
But the boy beat her to it.
She looked at him and whispered back "I won't if you promise you'll stay."

So as the town finally received snow,
The sweet-looking boy kissed the broken-hearted girl softly on the cheek.
And the girl kissed him back,
but after this kiss the girl simply said "I don't want hurt again, my hearts so weak."

The boy shook his head in disappointment,
and whispered, "How could anyone look in these eyes,
and throw them right back down."
With that he hugged her and inside her heart dies.

"Merry Christmas, my princess,
I hope you will always be that. I love you so much" the sweet looking boy says like a flirt.
"I will always be your princess. It is a Merry Christmas."
The girl whispers for only the boy to hear. "I love you, and now I know I won't be hurt."

****Sorry its long...Its happened to me...I just remembered this. He...so I wrote about it. I hope you like it.***
