State of mind

Sometimes we argue so much,
we aren't even sure what we may find,
thinking back to how we were,
our love made things seem perfect and kind.

life carries on,
what will tomorrow bring?
how will things turn into,
how will we face all those different things?

our paths ahead of us lie long,
through thick and thin,
we will have to pull through,
eventually in this game of life we will win.

frustrated, but still hand in hand,
we remember our dreams,
just an evening walk on he beach full of sand,
but for now, impossible all this seems.

the future is blurry,
and there is so much i fear,
but I'm left here standing,
just watching it near.

life continues to throw things at us,
and different emotions and reactions we will always find,
sometimes we are so annoyed we just want to cuss,
but for now all this has left me in a paranoid state of mind.
