Hopefully

by Bill Turner   Dec 22, 2005

Practice what you preach
Do what you say
Lead with what you teach
Getting out of town this day

Coastal confessions are on order
Bury my troubles in the sand
No more inner disorder
Visit the sea while on dry land

This is my last poem
At least for a while
Go where my feet roam
Hopefully finding a smile

Renewed from the travel
Fresh from the stormy beach
My life need not unravel
Must do what I teach

We shall see what tomorrow may bring
Letting life carry me away
Got to reach for the brass ring
Tomorrow starts today

Great poem Bill. If we don't have a little hope... we have nothing to cling to. I hope you find that peace that you need....Have a great vacation and be safe.
    Merry Christmas

Bill: Wonderful poem my friend. I am so glad that you are full of hope and excitement. In my eyes the world needs more hope and I for one am glad that you are trying to spread some around, even if only in your writing.

I know that you are going to have a great time while away on vacation... Please babe, enjoy yourself and take lots of mental notes so you can share your trip with us through your next couple of writes.

    Merry Christmas babe

    Bill,
Beautiful poem! I will miss you so much, but hopefully you will find the answer there. "You take care of yourself" we'll be waiting for you.
