Lost and Found

Hear the whispers in the breeze,
The darkness overcomes.
Our shadows dance beneath the stars,
And together sing as one.

Listen for the melody,
Of the life that we once lived.
Witness the fire run deep within,
The truth our eyes both give.

Touch the ice that hardens hearts,
And speak the Devils' tongue,
I feel your pain, your anger true,
Our love forever young.

Feel the movement, speed through time,
We'll take the fastest car,
We'll never stop, drive far away,
Until God removes our scars.

Understand the words I speak
And know my life is you.
Don't forget the child within,
For only he is true.

So many fears we face inside,
Our forgotten years are told
Unspeakable prayers we whisper aloud,
Our souls laid broken in the cold

The truth is seen in both our eyes,
So pure, like that of a dove,
What we sought was here all along,
For the chance to feel love.
