A Friend Not Forgotten

Through rainy days, you were the sun,
My light to guide me through,
You helped me more than ever before,
In dark times I ran to you.

For all you've done, I want to help,
If ever you should fall.
Be strong, be solid, just be yourself,
Have the strength to believe, stand tall.

Remember looking back on the days?
So many memories found,
And now we're friends forever-more,
Just like a ring is round.

We laughed in tears and cried with joy,
Like sisters bound at heart,
And your with me wherever I go,
Ever though we're miles apart.

So I write this poem for only you,
My dearest ever friend,
I'll be here forever and always,
With you until the end.
