Severed blade

by Wings Of Flames   Dec 22, 2005

A face of no serenity appears with tears of strain,
A darkened cloud is forming threatening to rain,
Blood from broken scars are yet to make a mend,
Hiding these emotions so that world can blend,

Standing in the rain the blood dripping from the knife,
Kneeling on the ground ending the scaring strife,
Rain pouring down now soaked to the skin,
Nothing left to have pride in but a firey sin,

Stands above a body stabbed to no repair,
Whispers "You should have cared,"
Leaves the scene and returns to being sain,
Sees what she's done and feels a heavy stain,

Screams and runs from her world never to return,
Grabs the lighter and starts to burn,
Severs her hands and hits the floor,
She's never been here before,

Sees the balcony and smiles with glee,
At last she shall be eternally free,
Flings her self from the edge and finds a smile,
Then reaches the end and hits the tile,

Still alive but only just,
She wants to leave for she has no one to trust,
Blood oozes from her vein,
The clouds are beckoning as it continues to rain,

She dies slowly and with nothing but sorrow,
Her soul has now escaped the body only borrowed,
Flying high and sees the light,
She ended everything to see the night. . .
