Changed For The Better

I wrote this a little while back!! There's another part to it, that I'll post in a little while!!

I always looked into the future,
and I could never find anything good.
I tried to find happiness,
but somehow I never would.

None of my dreams would come true.
I would be all alone.
Waiting until it was all done.
Making sure no emotions were ever shown.

But all of a sudden,
you came into my life.
My whole life changed because of that.
Then I knew everything would be all right.

I never thought I could,
feel this way again.
So happy and calm,
all because of my four-legged friend.

It almost seems like it's
to good to be true.
But I know it's not
whenever I look at you.
