Heart pounding
palms sweaty
knees shaking-
i walk towards you....
hoping for you to
sooth my heart
dry my hands
stop my knees

soul guarded
spirit trapped
mind lost-
i walk towards you...
hoping for you to
unarm my guard
free my spirit
find my head

past scared
present confused
future blurred-
i walk towards you....
hoping for you to
accept my scars
understand my present
clear my future

battle wounded
chilled hope
burnt faith-
i walk towards you...
hoping for you to
treat my wounds
melt my heart
save my faith
