Class of '05

by Jesse Ray   Dec 23, 2005

I'm sorry I missed our big day
I wasn't there to share the pain
I know I missed our graduation
You nor I need not to complain

But this is a tribute to you guys
Glenside, the Class of 2005
Although you've heard stories
I know in high school you'll survive

It's been six months since that day
We haven't seen each other since
We've all moved forward
Yet, online we seem to reminisce

The over night stay at Springfield
The love our hearts commit
The joy and laughter of our children
Times in health was fun, I must admit

The economic unit was not that bad
When friends we're there for support
Hell, we would fail the whole class
If failing was our last resort

Who could forget about gym class
How we got dodge ball banned from school
Although we know it wasn't our fault
The punishment was wild and cruel

How we made fun of the little 7th graders
For thinking that they can take our spot
How we showed them who the boss is
How we showed them what we got

And that "One Magic Moment" musical
These moments I do recall
I think we've done the impossible
I think we're the one that did it all
