The boy I once knew and the one I know now

In the past I loved a boy,
A trustworthy, capable lad.
I loved his everything,
He was the best I ever had.

In the past I loved an angel,
A heavenly being from above.
I cared for him with all my heart,
I knew for sure it was love.

In the past I loved a prince,
A perfect sweet guy.
And when I toss and turn at night,
He was my lullaby.

Now I love a sickening flirt,
A playboy who was never true.
But I'll be there for him when he wants,
If he was happy, I was too.

Now I love a good-for-nothing cad,
A downright disgusting bully.
Even though I get heartaches a lot,
I still love him fully.

Now I love a shameless cheat
There's nothing I haven't been through.
No matter how hard how painful,
I never stopped loving you.

    This is by far one of the best poems I have ever read on here!! I absolutly love it. It was extraordinary!! The last stanza has to be my favorite out of the entire poem but it is all great! keep up the good work!
