What's that word that everyone hates?
The word that comes up after a few dates?
It plays with your heart
And at the end you know you weren't smart
It makes you do foolish things
And sadness it also brings
But there is times where it is good
And nothing can be misunderstood
There is often joy
And is often used as a toy
It will make you think
Even though at times it will stink
It will make you laugh
On everyone's else's behalf
It will make you cry
And maybe a little shy
It will make you mad
But it's not always that bad
I believe that word is love
And for that word everyone needs a little shove
