Inhibited love

If we have something special,
filled with hope and glory,
Our hearts hidden by our clothes,
through their eyes will tell the story,
Blinded by each other, we led our separate lives,
A glance, a wave, few words, we stayed- a blossoming friendship - already was made;

Different relationships along with friends,
our time for each other was brief but led;
The beginning and understanding,
of knowing each other,
the looks,the touches, the bonding like lovers-
Accepting denial,was hard to overcome, the sparks were set,
the race had begun;

Catching each other, or avoid being caught, breaking hearts in the process, a war being fought,
If bringing us together, was keeping us apart, then love being blind,destroyed us from the start
