You came home from college,
For Christmas vacation.
We met at a friends house,
And it was like magic.
When I looked into your eyes,
They were so calm and they made me just melt.
I thought of what it feel like to hold you,
I thought of what it would be like to just kiss you.
Then our friends girlfriend came over,
So it was like a double date.
When they started to make out,
I just wish I could be that happy again.
We started to talk and get to know each other,
We found we have a lot in common.
Then all of a sudden he wrapped his arm around me,
I felt like I was protected for once in 3 months I felt joy.
Later on after we watched a movie,
And the room went dark.
He told me he liked me a lot,
I smiled and said the same.
We looked into each others eyes,
Then he gently leaned now and kissed me softly.
It was amazing,
And so warm and comforting.
I wanted there to be more than friendship,
Then he asked me to take a walk with him.
So I did,
Then he asked me out for a second date.
So I wondered deep down,
Is he the one I'm meant to be with.
Then he leaned down and gently kissed me again,
Then I knew he's the one.
