Attention...Gone Too Far

by Emily   Dec 29, 2003

I sit by myself and it seems so dark. In reality I'm in the middle of hundreds of people in the bright summer sun. It some times feels as though I'm cought up in my dreams.

All I want is a little attention. In my hand I hold the key, a knife as sharp as can be. As long as I place it in just the right spot, I will be just fine. Then a man bumps his arm into mine.

The sharp pain goes through my body. It was way to high. Now I lay in a pool of blood as I die.

I didn't mean it to go so wrong, but it's to late, now I'm gone. I took my want for attention to far.

~Note~ To many people in this world go in ways like that. So they can be noticed. But in the end they are not there to get the attention.
