Everything will be alright

by Ly Cai   Dec 24, 2005

Late at night in the cold, I stared at the ocean.
And there I saw behold, a life with no burden.
I looked at the sky, and I tried to count the stars,
But then I just looked at them lie, it felt kind of bizarre.
It felt as if they saw right through me, and they know who I was.
They knew I wasn't happy, and I could hear a pause.
A pause from the world around me, a pause so no one can hear.
So no one can hear my misery, and no one can see my tears.
The stars are shining more brightly tonight,
And that was when, I knew everything was going to be alright.
