Re-write the story....

I wish I could go back and re-write this story right,
So the pages are no longer torn and frayed,
And new sad beginning on each page.
I wish I could write it the way it's meant to be,
To take out all the bad, would it make you feel better?
To cut out what doesn't belong
If I was to re-write this story I'd bring you back and give you a better life,
I'd write it the way you would like it.
If I was to re-write this story I'd write about the love of you and me,
About how everything went from meant to be.
I'd write it so there was only a little pain,
So there would be no more cutting, no more drugs, no more wish for death,
I'd re-write the story of my life,
I'd make it right,
I'd re-write the story of your life just to see you smile once more.
