A Walk to Class

I don't know how I feel today
But you took my breath away
My heart fell to floor as I anxiously waited to hear what you would say

I dreaded a conversation like this since I first had feelings for you
Walking to class asking you the most avoided question,
Are your feelings for her true?

She's my best friend and I didn't think a problem like this could be
I do want you to be happy
But what about me?

The next day a lonely walk to class that I decided to take alone
Alot on my mind
My sadness took over because of what my heart known

A tear fell from my eye and my best friend asked me what was wrong
I didn't know how to break the news to her
He liked her all along

I told her it was nothing that I would call her after school
And then you walked up beside her
And she told me she had some important news

A hurtful day
That I thought had come to an end
Until I made that phone call, to my so called best friend

She declared her feelings for you and what was in her heart
I could not belive what I was hearing
My heart was torn apart

I had too much trust in her and too much hope for you
I wish you wasn't worth it
And I wish my heart never had anything to do with you.
