I Gave

by Drew Pieper   Dec 24, 2005

I Gave you the world
So it would be yours to have it manifested
It would have been perfect
But you only accepted a fourth of it

I gave you truth
So you wouldn't be deceived
It wouldn't take a sleuth
To see only half of it you chooses to believe

I gave you trust
So you could've learned
But it wasn't in just
Cuz only 3 quarters you earned

I gave you my love
Though i do believe it burned
It used to be pure as a dove
But all of it wasn't returned

I gave you time
So you could find out what made you confused
Though what you did was next to crime
None of it you used
