A Seires of Goodbyes

by amandaa   Dec 24, 2005

In a series of goodbyes
One I wish that I could say
Would be to all the pain you cause
I wish would go away.

The different kind of greeting
Will come in our next meeting
An unbearable pain will be
And take over all of me.

In between all of my tears
I wish to tell you how
You'll affect me all of my years
And the pain doesn't only come now.

In a dream I often dream
I can scream and scream and scream.
I can tell you how I feel
And make you see what's real.

I can yell for how you hurt me
I can punch you in the face.
I can go insanely crazy
I can kiss you in an amazing embrace.
But only in this dream.

In a series of goodbyes
I will cry my eyes out
Till we're both swimming in tears.
I will scream my heart out
And not care if anyone hears.

In a series of goodbyes
I'll leave behind so many different things.
I'll cry and be happy and be angry
For those are the feelings that loving you brings.

In a series of goodbyes
I know that I could leave.
Goodbye, goodbye, goodbye
But the thing is....
I can't leave.
