Nature Lost

by Bill Turner   Dec 24, 2005

Just like this life I am living
The forces of nature are infringing

Why put a resort on a wild beach?
Pushing natures beauty out of reach

No longer rich like before
Ugly cabins line the shore

No money worth what was lost
Erasing nature's beauty at what cost?

My sanctuary gone forever
Will I go back? Never!

Making me so damn sad
Ruining what they had

A great poem Bill... I think may people understand this. There are many places on this earth where the beauty of nature has been ruined!!!

It's a great poem, I know the way you feel...nature's so beautiful, but we are nothing but humans and make mistakes...why do we do things like that to our world? Your answer is one word: Money.
