Stages Of A Depressed Life...

Little girl, sits in her room
plays with dolls and all her toys
her Christmas this year
will be full of joy

Younger sibling, peeks in a room
sees her sissy full of gloom
tries to come in and gets pushed out
wonders what sissy's so sad about

Depressed girl, cries at night
cuts herself when shes in fright
Hides the cuts with long sweaters
hoping someday that she'll be better

Gothic girl, dresses in black
hates her life, "forget about that"
Paints her nails as black as tires
inside shes hurting, her heart's on fire

Suicidal teen, stands on a building
she's ready to jump, she is so willing
shes tired of life and the people in it
shes been fighting herself and just cant seem to win it

Scared girl, hides inside herself
so frightened now, cant help herself
locks herself inside her room
her life's pure hell, so full of doom

Popular girl, acts all cool
but people have been truly cruel
she hurts to, but wont let they show
shes debating if its her time to go

All of those are me, except the Gothic part, you see inside I'm hurting and have been ripped and torn apart, I'm leaving soon you know, but you all stay strong, i just didn't belong here, my life had no kind of song
