Hurricane Katrina

Tears are falling

Like drops of rain

These tears are burning

With so much pain

The tears are splashing

Onto the ground

Yet they don't

Make a sound

Some are wet

And some turn dry

They just fall

Right out of the sky

Tears of Angels

Are being cried

'Cause Hurricane Katrina

Let poor victims die

Yes it is sad

And though I don't know 'em

Tears well up in my eyes

As I write this poem
