One Life

These days
You can become so lonely.. And no one would notice
Your heart can get broken.. and it would be nothing new
People to look to the Lord and say He's betrayed me
wont go there again
These days
Everyones depressed
Everyone breaks each others hearts
Everyone has something that they want
But who really thinks that what they want can hurt them ...hurt them
So finally when you what you want
Is handed
Handed to you
Put in your hand
Your thinking
Thinking about all the harm
So now its as if your afraid
Afraid to take what you want

These days
No one wants to talk about whats wrong
And no one wants to smile and pretend
Pretend to be happy
Then again no one even knows exactly whats wrong in the first place
Everyones afraid to fall in love
They just don't want to get hurt again
They hate to think about what they went through
Cuz in the end they think
They think about how they forgave And relived the pain
The happy people then give them a quote
Forgive and forget,
Relive and regret
Another day in vain

These days
Life isnt all its cut out to be
You have to embrace the ups and downs
And learn from them
You cant just sit back and mope in self pity
Put the hurtful things aside
Never go a day without laughter
And live your life cuz you only get
One
One life to live
One life to embrace
And that life isnt long
Live life how you want
Do what you feel is right
Let me tell you this now
You havent lived

You havent lived
Til you've looked like a fool
Til you've embarressed your self
Til you've had some fun
Dance around to the tune in your head
Sing out loud as loud as you can
Dance some more in your underwear
Pull a joke on the person comin your way
Never go a day without laughter
Or you're wasting your life
Just wasting away
Choking on foolish pride

It doesnt matter if you've had the worst day
If you laugh everything will be okay
Most of all live life as yourself
Cuz you only get
One
One life to live
One life to embrace
And that life isnt long
Live life how you want
Do what you feel is right
