Did you hear about the people
All the people
Did you hear them last night?
They were crying
Just trying to hide
The tears behind their eyes
Did you see some of those people
Popping in a pill,taking up an entire bottle, one by one?
Did you hear the whispers last night?
Those were people, trying to fight
In themselves they lie, they can't shelter the truth without a lie
A while ago
Did you feel it rain outside?
Did you see the dancing people
Tears running from their eyes?
Did you hear little cries
And whimpers of children
As they go to bed hungry
Without a living
On a cold empty street
But to them it is heaven
To have something
Than nothing
Did you recall echoes yesterday
Bouncing from all the walls of the world
Did you see a gruesome blade's display
As fresh skin does it hurt?
Did you see the little cut
That turned into a long red mark?
I did.
I saw them write a poem on their arm.
Did you hear the melody
Of zillion thousand cries being heard all over the world
Of someone missing you
Of boys that cannot be with girls?
Did you hear billions of tears
Crashing to the ground
Louder than the titanic fused with a concert
The looks of those who are pushed around?
Oh do you feel the pain
When you look them in the eye
If you ever truly did
Then you'd know why they cry
