Final Attempt

by k i k i   Dec 25, 2005

A sinful meaning to forgiveness,
Just let her run again.
Free her from the fear,
And take off the tags.
Under pressure to be perfect,
Cracking under the subtitle light.

Lock and chain keeps her down,
Why can't she see the real world?
Force-fed the food,
That will make her ill.
Not knowing right from wrong,
It's your fault she did this.

Water pouring onto her face,
Wiping back the tears.
Hair pulled back with a band,
She prepares once again.
An attempt to forbid her life,
This time being forever.

First try woudn't work,
She wasn't strong enough.
Blunt and dirty,
She waited some time.
Nailed it back together,
Carrying on with daily chores.

The time came,
She had enough of the hurt.
A final stake to make it her way,
She cuts it from her body.
Scraping the cells of who she is,
Washing them down the drain.

Slowly falling onto the floor,
She stops breathing.
Found lying here, unconscious,
They don't know what to do.
Unknown of the horror she felt,
And why she wanted to leave.

There was no goodbye.

Just a silent gush of her emotions,
Running down the valley.
