Earn Your Rest

For every tear I cried, is another inch of strength I gain-
cause every time I cry, is that much less pain.
If theres a bump in the road-
I step over and carry over my load.
If theres a wall, I won't waste my time and climb.
I clench my fist and let my teeth grind.
I'll smash through the wall and walk over the rubble.
I know I can't avoid the trouble.
I know I have to experience a struggle.
I'll hike up a mountain but fall down on the other side.
Everyone has to go through shyt but you gotta keep your head up and ride.
Let God throw any obstacle he wants at you.
Show him your strong enough and make it through.
I know I will cause my friends and family stand behind.
You're making a mistake if you think life is gonna be kind.
Be smart and don't give up-
cause once everyone is ready to jump you, they back up when you erupt.
Every time you're pissed, it makes the fight in you bigger.
Point the gun away from yourself and let go of the trigger.
Every time you show doubters you belong-
your point proved makes you twice as strong.
Every time you get through the bullshit your heart grows.
Instead of dodging the hits, absorb all the blows.
Make sure you let them know-
You won't give up w/out a war.
Let those people know you wanna fight against life some more.
When you gone-
it won't be wrong-
cause God knows you've fought long and solid.
He won't forget all the good you did.
Phuck all the bullshyt cause its just a test.
When you get through it all, theres no doubt that God will let you rest.
