Ode to Kristen

by Windos   Dec 25, 2005

Dancing in the darkness
Her radiance lights the room
Her body flows with finesse
The beauty in full bloom
Yet no one seem to dance along
The room slips back to black
As she realises her company
But her will is strong
And she thinks back
To when she was bubbly

Suddenly she is surrounded
By many familiar figures
She appears confounded
And wonders if they are mourners
But the figures don't cry
They take on the forms
Of her many good friends
None of whom will ever say, "goodbye"
They will last through countless storms
Slowly, her heart mends
