My favorite christmas

Christmas with all the snow,
family gatherings,
presents and the warmth of the fire,
this year i didn't have any of those things.

but i still remember,
what is most important to me,
i got something special this year,
and its not something everyone will see.

on Christmas i feel cold and lonely,
no Christmas tree,
no presents or much of Christmas spirit,
but you came along last minute to set me free.

its cold and raining outside,
so windy you can hear the wind go swish,
even though i got you mad,
you still granted my Christmas wish.

tonight we forget everything,
all the happiness and warmth finally came back to us,
overcoming another obstacle,
and because of you, this is my favorite Christmas.
