Bathed in Moonlight

by mookoo   Dec 26, 2005

I feel a ripple run through my chest,
slow evolution daunting my crest,

itching through to break free of my skin,
pain bringing pleasure of immeasurable sin,

my bones creek, lengthening in grace,
my clothing tears sounding of ripped lace,

bathed in moonlight of haunt,
my form twirling like a croissant,

a shrill banshee cry issues from my throat,
forced through as cravings change to goat,

pain ebbs from my legs, reaching up to full height,
covered in gray fur, a memorable sight,

I bound cross the grass in new pride,
looking through the streets for my new bride,

one which will see my kiss by moon fall,
left ravaged from my merciless brawl.
