With Faith

I stand a while to watch the world
go flying round so fast
to stand and stare at all there is
to remember about my past

a distance great behind me
to have came a long way
things i have done and said
makes me who i am today

I cry inside, smile on out
but this is just my shell
a way of saving a broken soul
from tortures of this hell

for i have seen the wonders
and happiness with care
for i have felt the heart break
and know the feeling of dis-pare

for everything we say and do
an opposite is formed
in death a celebration of our life
or a chance to be morned

so if in pain there is no doubt
with a fitting like a glove
surely there is an opposite
is it everlasting love ?

i have loved and lost
and so the saying goes
it is better to have loved and lost ?
that no one ever knows

i stand a while to watch the world
and the people pass me by
with pain and love within there hearts
and i start to wonder, why ?

for one day i surely will
find the "one" to be
i believe this now, oh yes i do
for i have faith in me

so take this with you always
for i have felt the pain of love
but i still have faith in my heart
and i still believe in love
