Waiting
for what
i do not know
i see hope
flying in the distance
where might it be going
why is it leaving
oh hope
from the heavens
please do not leave
please stay with me
please...
the tears flow constantly
why does this
weakness plague me
they will not cease
but they only
grow stronger
i have no reason
for these tears
but they seem to have
a huge monster behind them
i cry for this
and for those poor souls
that i cannot reach
but they are for not
senseless to cry
for those whom
i cannot reach
on my own
if i still had the hope
that i once had
maybe they would come to pass
but they will not
i see them as day is light
i see my failure of this
my dreams drowning
in my own tears
but it seems that
i am still waiting
