The Hardest Day

by Ms Stacy   Dec 27, 2005

Today will be the hardest day of my life, today I have to let you go back to fight.
I knew your leave from the Army last forever, but I am thankful that time passed by slowly while we held each other.
We fell in love, something that wasn't supposed to happen, we are promised to each other...you proposed everyday you were home.
I decided to move to Kansas with you during the summer.
I'm leaving every bit of family I have, but you assure me we can start another.
You gave me your senior ring, its been all over the world, around old castles and seeing the Eiffel Tower. But you always tell me that the it sits on the most gorgeous girl you have ever seen...me.
That ring is my promise ring, I get an engagement on in 4 months.
And for once I'm not scared of commitment...Ive found my truest love.

...Today will be the hardest day out of all the rest, but I know you will always be with me.
In my heart
Right here.
