Everything you have ever wanted
who you desire the most
the girl who’ll gladly
sweep you off your feet
if you let me come close.

The one who is concerned
when she knows
something is wrong
the one who secretly loves you
and will forever long

Someone who sees you
not just stares
someone who wants you
someone who actually cares.

Ready to take you
into my heart
hoping and praying
you won’t rip it apart.

Values and goals being
held deep within
imagining your lips on mine
wanting to be more than a friend

Ready to stand at your side
waiting to confess to you
ready to hold your hand
willing to do anything I can do

Sneaking little peeks
glancing over my back
they tell me you do it too
wanting what you have

You have your heart
I’m ready to see it
cupped ever so
gently in my hands
as long as you let me keep it

Can you see mine?
Or is it a mistake
Are your feelings
for me real?
Or are they just fake.

    :] i really like it. nice piece. the last stanza is really good. it really closes up the piece. its really hard when you really show your affection toward someone especially if they're a close friend and your not even sure if they notice. it gets frusterating and sometimes the best thing you can do is back off and see what happens. or just tell them. well i know im not much help.. the poem was beautiful though really remarkable. keep up the work and hope everything works out
