I Never Knew You

by lonelynow   Dec 27, 2005

Behind that face
That smiling laughing face
Was I person I never knew
I never knew you

You were always happy
Miss popularity at school
I never knew anything true
I never knew you

I never knew why you cried
I never knew why you were sad
I never saw why you were blue
I never knew you

You never asked for help
Suffered in silence all along
You never gave me a clue
I never knew you

And now youre gone forever
And said youd never be back
And warned me not to pursue
I never knew you

You let our friendship fall through
You know Im right; you know Im true
Kept yourself hidden; as you do
And I never knew you

* please please comment. This is in the depression section, because it is about a girl who suffered from severe depression, and about how when you have depression, you hide yourself as best you can. please please comment. *
