How do I say good bye, and let it all go
How can I forget the pain and all the tears
Is it possible to overlook the stinging of my heart,
And to cast away every single one of my fears

There is a dark and empty void deep in my heart now
A deep sorrow that nothing will ever be able to erase
I try to fill it with the joy and laughter you used to bring
I search for something that I can put there in your place

I tried to hide behind bowls, bongs and even a knife
But nothing will ever be able to replace you in my heart
Everything was awesome for a time, full of fun and laughs
But in time you took it all away and tore my heart apart

When I think about you, I see that goofy smile you have
I remember the way you made me laugh at what you said
Good memories are soon blocked out by the pain you caused
Erased by all the crazy mind games that you played on my head

Time is the only factor here that is able to heal me completely
The sole thing can cause the tears to cease and the pain to go away
I have to take ever experience with me as a lesson to learn from
